Senator Elissa Slotkin is currently accepting appropriations requests for congressional directed spending for Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26). The application will remain open until 5:00 pm EST on April 25, 2025.

Congressional Directed Spending allows senators to set aside federal funds for specific projects in their states. This is an opportunity for eligible entities to apply to obtain funding for projects that would benefit from a one-time allocation of funds. Organizations whose applications that were previously accepted by Senator Debbie Stabenow and Senator Slotkin’s House of Representative’s offices but was not ultimately funded are encouraged to reapply. Requestors may be required to submit additional information to the Senator’s office at a later time.
