WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin, a member of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee (SVAC), questioned U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs nominee Doug Collins at his nomination hearing. Slotkin is a former CIA officer who was deployed three times in Iraq alongside active-duty military and served presidents of both parties in national security roles at the White House and Pentagon.
Slotkin’s remarks and questions of Collins focused on the needs of Michigan VA facilities and working in a bipartisan way to deliver for our veterans.
